Willow Counseling

Hello! My name is Micayla Lyons and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). My goal is to hold space for and provide support to those who are walking through challenging stages in their life. I firmly believe that no one should have to walk alone. Like the Willow tree, we can bend much farther than we sometimes believe, and I hope to aid you in learning to bend with life instead of breaking. I try my best to “protect my peace” and hope to help you be able to do this as well. I feel that our experiences motivate our passions and after losing our daughter during pregnancy in 2021, I have developed a heart for those who are experiencing perinatal loss and perinatal mental health challenges. I am currently pursuing my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) to best serve in this space. I also feel that children, adolescents and young adults are integral parts of our world and love working with these populations – providing support as they grow, learn, and shift into who they want to become. It is an honor and a privilege to be given the sacred trust that comes with clients walking through my door – I feel that the bravest choice that a person can make is asking for help.
